Is the turn bet standard?

i think so. he has a worse hand often and given that gabe has been very aggressive, there is a fair chance he gets called down by worse. also, there are 2 FDs on turn and i think it is better protecting your equity than trying to induce bluffs on the river.

as played, i think its a fold.

so you dont think he ever is so tired of me that he check shoves the turn with a huge draw?

for people that say fold, do we just put him on nuts everytime? or KQss or something?

Why can't he have a Kx with Ks or other high card of spades (like KQ 1s). Doesn't he hate you? You only bet 1/2 pot behind also, and there is no action after he acts.

I really think this is a call......does anyone out there agree with me or am I just that big of a station? Given description and history I think he could be shoving all types of stupid [censored] here tbh, and I don't like betting this turn without a plan FWIW.

I think if Villain just wanted to blow you off your whatever, being that he's tired of you etc, he would've done it on the flop after your really weak bet. The fact that he's doing it now instead means you're prolly beat. But even more importantly is the fact that it's such an extremely marginal spot that folding simply can't be bad per se, while calling can.

ya, i still dont get why people make a bet with a marginal hand that puts the opponent in a spot where likely to go all in or fold, and then not know what to do when they get shoved on.
