Default A bigger text box?

Would it be possible to make the text box where you type replies/post threads bigger?

If it's a short post of a few lines it's not really a problem, but if I'm posting a long reply or a hand I'm having to constantly scroll up/down to check for any errors etc.

There's a large bit of white space just to the right --> and a bit at the bottom; it just seems a shame to let it go to waste
