However, she has the money to ensure that they have all the attention from others that they could ever want... and a much better life than they would have had otherwise.

That she will only be able to give them a certain level of attention, is secondary... to the fact that the children will have a better life.

Iran claim the seamen confess to being in Iranian waters.

Tony Blair says the taking of these men is unjustified and wrong.

What, you don't think Tony is gonna go all Falklands on them, do you? Except for the fear and discomfort the men are going through, I'm not sure why you feel this is that big a story or important an event.

It's possible, though remote. I'm more concerned about Bush maybe wanting an excuse to bomb the hell out of Iran, and now having a pretext.

I worry about Bush doing that over something that would be easier to sell to Americans than a few human lives that are not American ones. I don't think he needs a good one, but he would need a better one than this.

I can't believe people are still falling for Nigerian scams - one of the most famous and well-known scams there is. Eight wire transfers and no alarm bells. WTF?

Carter, there was a preacher's wife here in America who shot and killed her husband a year ago. It made the national news. It was really bizarre because by all accounts she was a really kind and meek woman.

I think the rumor was the couple had gotten caught up in one of these Nigerian scams and they were in serious financial trouble. Anyway, pretty sure that's what I read. (Not sure why that would explain shooting your husband in the back but I guess she had her reasons! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] )
