If Dwyane Wade takes that shot, Shawn Marion is ejected for a flagrant foul

Yes. but Dwade also makes the shot and then the FT.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wade would make contact with him after getting in the air.

I've pulled a total 180 on Bill Walton.. he just talked about drawing up a play for Croshere with 35 seconds left. "Amare won't give him the credit Austin Croshere demands."

also: lol @ DAL. SA your 2007 NBA Champs.

Dallas is on its first losing streak since the first four games of the season.

Nah, actual contact has never been a prerequisite for Dwyane Wade getting to the free throw line.

JESUS CHRIST WHAT A GAME!!!11 Suns definitely got lucky with the missed free throws at the end of reg but seemed to get unlucky with every rebound bounce down the stretch. Either way I cant wait for the western conference finals.

BTW the tech call was terrible but the late foul call on the Amare finish was 100% correct.

yeah, my only complaint with the reffing was that T.

This game never should have gotten to OT, let alone two. That both teams blew big leads and that it record two crazy threes to keep the game alive is a testament to how close these teams are.

I, of course, still believe the Mavs are better.

Oh, interesting note: The Mavs had as many offensive rebounds as the Suns had defensive.

LOL at you guys bitching about the T. Let's face it, a player at his level had to use words that would make the 2+2 language filter blush to get that called on him in a game like this. Should he be completely exempt from a T because of the time of game and who he is? I counter with the two obviously bad offensive foul calls on Amare at the end of the first overtime.

Also, no goddamned reason Erick fkn Dampier should get eleven ORB in a game. That's just embarrassing. The Suns won this one but they're not going far if they let the other team get that many chances. Christ, find a player and box him out.

Unfortunately I agree with you. Luckily they don't take our word for us and they run the playoffs anyway. I just hope they both make the WCF and not the goddamned Spurs.

tuq,

I wouldn't mind a T here if it was something way over the top, or if Dirk was even within 20 feet of the ref.

While I'm a "let them play" advocate, I can see the other side of the debate. However, this was a silly emotional outburst in one of the must important and heated games of the season. Furthermore, it was completely unremarkable.

Anyway, I always felt the Suns were pretty close to the Mavs (with the Spurs not far behind). To be honest, if I were a Suns fan there would be some definitely troubling signs in there (you mentioned a few, but also, how could the Suns not put the Mavs away when they had the chance?).

Anyway, 1 game left and then, hopefully, a great playoff series to go.
