Default Capone0\'s NFL Rankings after week 11

I don't think tonights game will effect the rankings very much unless Jacksonville crushes the Giants.

NFC:

1. Bears
2. Giants
3. Cowboys
4. Carolina
5. NO
6. Seattle
7. Atlanta
8. SF-Will Donovan out I don't trust Philly, feel free to disagree here.
9. Philly
10+. Who Cares

AFC:

1a/1b. Chargers/Colts
2. Broncos
3. Ravens
4. Patriots
5. KC
6. Cincy
7. Jets
8. Jacksonville
9. Pittsburgh
10+. Who cares

My comments as a 9er homer I think they might be too high. They have an easy schedule coming down the stretch. I'm hoping for 8 wins.

@ ST Louis-W
@ NO - L
GNB - W
@Seattle-L
Arizona-W
@Denver-Probally a loss now that Denver lost this week and needs to keep it up.

I think now you have to put them above Minnesota and St Louis, they beat them both already this year. I'm not as inclined to put them above Seattle since they have had serious injuries but they did make Seneca look confused yesterday which is impressive for the 9er D that I know.

NFL:

1a/1b. Chargers / Colts
2. Bears
3. Denver
4. Ravens
5. Patriots
6. Giants
7. Cowboys
8. Carolina
9. NO
10. Seattle

These guys are definitely the elite. I'm not sure if the Colts matchup well at all with the Chargers b/c of the 3-4. Colts need to get some more wide receiver sets against Ds like what Dallas pulled yesterday with the 3-4.

I just know that all those teams currently have holes. Both the Colts and Chargers play poor defense. The Broncos defense doesn't look great anymore, and neither does their offense. The Bears are probably the best team, but Rexy is prone to some poor playing which would scare me as a Bear fan.

I think the playoffs are going to be wide open.

Every team in the league has holes. Colts D has been better as of late. Chargers D has been worse. Then again Colts O hasn't been as good lately. Bears O isn't nearly as good as they were in the beginning of the year. Grossman scares me.

Denver's D hasn't played that well but their O is better than the beginning of the year.

Sure. I guess my point is that the league seems more wide open than in the past 3-4 years. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Chargers, Colts, Broncos, Bears, or Patriots be champions.

remember that the chargers were missing 3 dudes from their front 7 for most of the denver game. When theyre healthy the chargers defense is a top 5 defense.

Anyone know if the Colts have ever run 5 wide sets? I think that's how you beat some of the 3-4 sets that Pittsburgh, and Chargers pull out. Honestly this year other than Marvin and Reggie I haven't heard from 1 of there other WRs on the roster (are there any?).

Looks about right. I still don't think Carolina wins that division because of their schedule, but I'll go into that deeper when I do my NFC rankings (which are pending until tonight).

As for San Fran, I have them 10th behind St. Louis and Philly. St. Louis has a really easy schedule the rest of the way, and I think they're a better team than San Fran. Philly... who knows.

St Louis has lost 5 in a row. San Fran beat St. Louis pretty handily and has beaten them 3 in a row now. St. Louis doesn't have Pace anymore so their running game isn't as good. San Fran ran down a "good" Seattle D throat yesterday. You can't blame that on Hasselback and Alexander not being 100%. Philly doesn't have McNabb, if they do of course they will be much higher. I don't trust Garcia at all right now.
