bet more than the minimum on flop#1, bet more than 1/2 pot on turn #1. raise 2.5x-3x w/AQ, you dont really rep anything with the turn raise, but i guess it could be worse.

Edit: hand #3 is actually a pretty tough decision on the turn. And good lord i cant believe you folded a set in hand #4. Its pretty unlikely either of them flopped a straight, but even if they did you have 10 outs.

The title of this thread should be changed. OP is definitely not "playing 2+2 poker".

I agree. These examples are NOT 2+2 poker. Those would be the ones where I get bluffed out.

Hand 1: why did you donk the flop? You're giving villain 6.5:1 to hit whatever he wants. Just make a standard cbet (~350) and hope he shoves over it.

Hand 2: For the love of God why are you minraising? Make it ~t300 PF. If you have a read on villain than your line on the turn is ok except for the fact that you raised way too much. You can get villain to fold here for a lot less of your stack.

Bet, raise, re-raise all-in on the first hand.

Regardless, it's still a fistpump instacall for the reasons stated above.

I can't find it - but I read a heads up article and it said to double the blind on the button because of position and bet 3x in the BB.

Sometimes I think people here forget what it was like to be learning. I've been playing poker with money for 2 months. Before that I played free poker (mostly in a bar league) for awhile and it might have warped my thinking about how to play the real game.
When I first started, I actually thought this was easier because people would actually fold.

crystalallen,

It looks to me as though it is not as much you simply getting bluffed more, its that you haven't yet thoroughly taken in "2+2 poker" (for lack of a better term), and therefore arent able to identify your own leaks or the ease of calling in a lot of spots where people seem to be making a move on you.

Trust me, its a lot of fun when you finally develop the understanding for that stuff, because then you don't just catch bluffs, you snap them off and beat him into the pot I recommend continuing to study and post and plug leaks and work on hand reading skills. I have a feeling you'll be catching more bluffs soon. Best of luck.

All I'll add is that I've found that the weaker the player the more likely he/she suspects a bluff. Don't worry about it too much and move on to the next hand.

Thank you. I don't what's worse, when they show, or when I have the feeling it happened and I sit there brooding about it.
