Re: WCOOP ME - Tough Spot vs. Winning player
I don't like preflop, I flatcall here against almost all opponents.
Fold the turn. You beat JJ. |

Re: WCOOP ME - Tough Spot vs. Winning player
everyone saying "we beat JJ" wtf
when does villain actually have JJ and bet the turn? he's not valuebetting thin, and he's not bluffing with a hand with SD value pretty stupid comment |

Re: WCOOP ME - Tough Spot vs. Winning player
and i think your pf raise size is terrible because you a) announce you have a hand, but b) you don't pay attention to stacks to get him to shove stuff you beat (99/TT/AK/AQs) and instead just made a really scary looking 3bet of a EP raise too small for him to be able to shove some of that range because it's so obv you have QQ+

As I said I'm actually Villain in hand and called OOP probably because I was high and like "Oh I know exactly what his range is let's hit something and suck out" Then during the hand I was like "Well, his range is like JJ+ or QQ+, and I think I can get him to fold JJ-KK, so I mean that's 3/4+ of his range since there's an A on the board" I felt that times villain would c-bet with JJ-KK here would probably be countered by times he'll c-bet with AA as well. As soon as I bet I realized I bet too big on the turn - it wasn't small enough to look like a value bet. I actually like to value bet bigger a lot of times for that very reason, but true villain isn't going to know that and I didn't setup the river shove as well because of the bad turn bet size. I completely agree betting with JJ here would be retarded, so I'm not sure why ppl are saying that. In summary, I donked my stack in the ME bluffing trying to force a laydown. |

Re: WCOOP ME - Tough Spot vs. Winning player
Can't say much about this hand from the opposite perspective because you give 0 read of "hero". This could very well be a retarded 2 streets bluff, or a +EV play that failed in this particular spot for some random reason.
In any case if "hero" called you down with QQ he is either a very good or a very bad player, not much in between (unless you give some more info). |
