edit, the EV is actually about $95 and not $63 in my above assumptions.

[ QUOTE ]

The question is will he fold KQ 40% of the time?

[/ QUOTE ]

IME the answer is no. Once he calls that big flop raise and a blank comes on the turn, most will call the turn for less than a pot-sized bet with any K, and sometimes underpairs or the nut flush draw

Yeah, Paul and I kinda talked about this over aim. How often does he have to fold to make pushing more profitable?

[/ QUOTE ]

.25(266) = (x)(266) + (1-x)[(.25)(488)-(.75)(222)]

Where x is the percentage that Villain must fold for pushing to be equal EV to checking behind. Assuming all our outs are good and we 0 implied odds.

I got $95 for checking (assuming we get a river bet 1/2 the time, and just win the pot the other 1/2 time). So just put that in somewhere and solve for x!

seems like an easy check if he overvalues his hands. no need to semibluff when you have no FE and he'll pay off your draw if you hit it.

flop raise would be much better with a stronger draw, I check behind the turn almost always

if i was the PFR i'd be more inclined to check here.

if i wasn't the PFR i'd be more inclined to push.
