Default $25 NL 6-max: Aggression Factor & Value-Betting

My # is 22/14 over 12k hands so far with AF of 2.41/1.23/1.22 and total of 1.78. I feel it's a tad low (it's decent for 25 NL) but eventually I want to have over a 2. I shouldn't be so statistically-oriented but I feel like being so weak on turn and river are losing me a lot of monies.

Another thing is value-betting. Sometimes I get scared of taking someone to valuetown with, say a top pair or situations like below.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($15.35)
UTG ($17.10)
Hero ($24.05)
CO ($26.50)
Button ($25.70)
SB ($19.05)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls $0.90, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: ($2.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1.75</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $3.5</font>, Hero calls $1.75.

Turn: ($9.25) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $5</font>, Hero calls $5.

River: ($19.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $19.25

Yeah,, bet river, there's no chance that he checks here with a hand that got you beat, I would shove. The rest is fine.

Didn't look at the hand, but yep ... your stats are teh suck aggression wise.

It depends on how loose/tight you are, tight means more aggressive, than loose (even tho lags have the worst reputation, statwise Tags have the higest AF)

Many lags run AF's of 4-5

Tag run 6-8 or so.

More or less ... anyways, those are just estimates based on me, but 2 is not good enough, no way ... and that it is 25NL is no excuse

Is it not possible his check was AQ / A2s / 22 afraid of the clubs with the $5 half-pot call on the turn? I guess that's a small range out of his possible holdings but I suck =d

no reason imo to check that river, hes got a weaker ace probably, and he wont check the flush / boat there when you have shown strength the entire time and could get a free showdown with TTP. Gotta put that Value bet in there imo
