I check the turn here, not may worse hands are calling IMO, and you donīt want the pot getting big. 1/2 pot stab at it on the river.

I checked through. Mistake number one?

River is a Jack of Spades, perhaps literally the worst card that could have cropped.

Now what?

Check behind or fold to river bet. Now you are literally not beating anything.

There are a lot of draws, but I'm having trouble determining what hands preflop he could call that would be utilizing those draws. QJdd is the best draw he could have, but would he really call being reraised preflop? I mean I guess it is possible, but I have a hard time believing that the Villian's range is much large than QQ-AA,AK,AQ.

Then again 25NL has some ridiculous players, so I guess the draw is possible.

villains range is far larger than this, he is on the button and could be calling with any suited Ace easily. Bet the turn and depending on reads i may even call a shove here, realistically A9 and A5 are the only hands i would be worried about, while i would consider villains range to contain A4-AQ.
