Donkey,

Are you going to upload any more old matches?

[/ QUOTE ]

I sort of stopped due to:
A) it being so time consuming
B) fairly low interest on this board

I have 3 video threads right now and they are averaging something like 10 posts each. The videos have anywhere between 30-150 hits (with some exceptions), so that's not bad, but I think a lot is coming from random DailyMotion visitors.

I may do some more eventually. Acutally, if you go to my profile on Daily Motion, I believe there are several videos I haven't listed yet. When I get a chance, I should get around to posting them here.

Bob Backund vs. Samoan #3
1983 – WWF – 8:32
- Hogan returns to the WWF at the end of the match.

DKS, what was the story of Hulk Hogan leaving
the WWF the first time? I do not know the story of
Hulk Hogan prior to his win from the Iron Sheik for the
title.

In 1981 Hogan was offered the Thunderlips role in Rocky III. Vince McMahon Sr. said he couldn't take it because he didn't want his wrestlers being actors. Hogan then was fired. He then spent the next few years in the AWA and New Japan until Vince McMahon Jr. took over the WWF and lured him back. Hulk was WWF champ 3 weeks after returning.

Interesting. I remembered him winning the title off Iron Sheik shortly after he came (return) into the WWF. I was a little kid back then but this was my first memory of Hogan. Thanks for the history lesson.
