Re: JJ, 22r final table bubble hand.
Oh, damn. Stack sizes were the first raiser had around 206k to start, pusher had 154k, and I had around 213k.

Since the button has only 9.5BB's I really have a tough time finding a fold here, even if he had been tight previously. The fact that he came overtop of a previous steal attempt with all his chips w/ AJo makes a call (push) even more mandatory. Stack sizes are pretty important for you and CO. Stack sizes please. Regards, Woodguy [/ QUOTE ] The guy called a button's push with AJ, he didn't resteal. I'm pretty sure this is the first hand I had seen him reraise (or at least noticed), and he had barely opened any hands. |

It still shows he has a good grasp of the button's range there, and the fortitude to act on that info, many tighties would fold AJ there. I think this would keep his range wide enough (88+, AQ+) for a push from you to be +EV, especially if the open raiser's chips become dead. Regards, Woodguy |

Re: JJ, 22r final table bubble hand.
Button has to be very very tight. You're telling me he folds AQ/AJ/99 and possibly even TT?? Wow. If his range is JJ+/AK, then I think a fold is fine? But, I would need to feel very strongly that Button doesn't have 99/TT in his range. Did he instashove or did he think then shove over OR? Players that are that nitty cannot be that good, so I would think he'd give off some timing tells.
BTW, what's your stack size? |

Re: JJ, 22r final table bubble hand.
I call with 99 and AK so I can't fold JJ.
