NL50 - Set of Queens - Line Check
Although it was this player's first hand at the table, I had him at 24/22/4/300+.
As I look at the board I can only think of 3 types of hands: 1) PP- JJ-88 2) Lower Set 3) Flush draw Here is my thought, the board is really dry and I still have 2 players to act. I am definitely not calling, I am rasing. The question is how much should I raise? Should I shove in a spot like this to prevent a draw from hitting? Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $106.60 BB: $50.00 Hero (UTG): $93.55 MP: $157.75 CO: $85.75 BTN: $37.10 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls $2.00, SB calls $1.75, BB calls $1.50 Flop: ($8) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">BB bets $7.00</font>, Hero will raise, but how much??? |

Re: NL50 - Set of Queens - Line Check
24$ seens fine. Just don't give him good odds.

Re: NL50 - Set of Queens - Line Check
My rule of thumb is to raise pot here, so that would be raising to $22. $24 will do too...
