nl100 six handed

3 folds hero ($76) bets $6 with black AK only SB calls

fold is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

hero bets $8 villain raises to $16, hero calls

turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

hero checks, villain bets $37, hero?

villain has hero stack covered.

This doesn't make sense to me.

First, did you just open raise to 6BB preflop? Seems odd.

Second, if only the SB calls, how are you out of position in the hand?

Anyways, nothing wrong with just going all in on the flop after his minraise.

you are right i wrote it by heart and he cant be the SB he was the button. In the other hand i didnt notice that i was shortstacked, as i am always rebuying i notice it only in the river...

most pockets (8s - 10s) min raise in these situations, hoping the aggressor turns it off as you did.

Just push the flop. And raise less preflop. Hopefully he raised with a fd or an Ax he's willing to stack off with. Without a possible fd I would normally call and crai the turn.
