Default TruePoker Players – 100bb games necessary!

Yesterday, I sent TP a lengthy email discussing the blind structures of their no limit cash games. Basically, I asked them to create more nl cash games with 100 big blinds. Here is their current nl cash games:

$.10 / $.20 -------- $5 Max Buy -------- 25 Big blinds

$.25 / $.50 -------- $10 Max Buy ------- 20 Big blinds

$.50 / $1.00 ------- $25 Max Buy ------- 25 Big blinds

$.50 / $1.00 ------- $50 Max Buy ------- 50 Big blinds

$1.00 / $2.00 ------ $100 Max Buy ------ 50 Big blinds

$1.00 / $2.00 ------ $200 Max Buy ------ 100 Big blinds

$2.00 / $4.00 ------ $200 Max Buy ------ 50 Big blinds

$2.00 / $4.00 ------ $400 Max Buy ------ 100 Big blinds

$2.00 / $5.00 ------ $500 Max Buy ------ 100 Big blinds

$5.00 / $10.00 ----- $1,000 Max Buy ---- 100 Big blinds

I specifically asked for a 6 max, $50 no limit table with $.25 / $.50 blinds and for a 6 max, $100 no limit table with $.50 / $1.00 blinds. I understand that the recreational players that play in the smaller no limit games enjoy the action created by games with less than 100 big blinds. However, I find that the games with 50 big blinds or less are difficult to play because you really do not have much room to work with. For example, at $.25 / $.50 ($10 max buy) players are normally raising $2 preflop. They are committing a fifth of their stack to the pot just to see a flop.

Essentially, at TruePoker’s lower nl cash games all players are shortstacking. Full Tilt and Pokerstars offer 100bb+ games. Some of you might tell me to play there but I would rather play on True for a few different reasons. I suggested that TP create these games as an experiment and see how it goes. If they have a 50bb and 100bb $200 max game, I do not see why they wouldn’t allow the creation of 100bb $50 and $100 max games.

I made this thread to ask for some support from other TruePoker palyers that would like to see more 100bb games. It would be great if you guys could email TP and explain why you would like more 100bb games. I am sure TP CEO will eventually see this thread and will comment on the issue. The more support we have, they more likely we will see more 100bb games on TP in the future.

Also, TP responded to my email and stated they would be forwarding my message to their management dept. Since then, I have opened TP and they added a $.20 / $.40, $10 max game in an update. A pretty good sign for sure

TP is really good about listening to their players. I play at TP and really enjoy the site, especially all the talking avators that they have. I feel like I am actually at a B&M casino. Anyway, the only thing I wish they had was more limit games going like they did back in the day.

That's also why there's very little traffic at their site.

if that helps you can sign my vote.
I don't play there but I certainly won't give it a try if there are no 100bb games...

Funny thing is the other sites has more bbs at lower stakes (like $5 at .1/.2 games = 250 bbs)

yep, that's one of the biggest reasons I stopped playing there at all.

You can't clear bonuses w/tournament play and the cash game structure sucks. Take care, True Poker.

(To their credit, they have increased the starting chip stacks in select tournaments)
