I cant help not tilting at 10-100x my regular stakes

Please help me with this.
I cant stop it. I will kill my regular stakes. But when I lose 2 buyins in standard plays, then tilt another stack off... I always see myself playing 20 times higher to try to get unstuck. Sometimes I win, feel relieved and stop playing. Others, I lose and proceed to move even higher until I either bust or double up.

I have busted countless times and feel I have the potential to beat the stakes I play regularly if I can stop tilting.

Any help/pointers would be appreciated...

Yeh, stop doing stupid [censored]. If you can't look at it as some sort of job (or side income) then you're just burning money by moving up to chase losses.

The old stand by # 1 answer is take a break. When I run bad I get this erg too, that whe I know I must take a break, and I know Im OK to come back when I dont want to play the higher stakes.
ps this takes some disaplin but its worth the efort.

You can stop it. You have to teach yourself, noone can do it for you. Just get up when you feel it coming. End of story.

I used to have the urge to do this then one day i was just like "hold on there is no point". There is no point. Just don't do it, you're only kidding yourself.

I need the money and all HS player do, too.

That's all there is to it. Just realize that poker is not for you, and find something else to do.

Poker's not for me either. I don't tilt much, but I win so little and get so emotional about losses that the money is not worth the frustration. I just found other stuff to do... I'll donk around in a $5 SNG now and then, and it's fun to read the forums... but playing seriously just doesn't work for me.
