Re: You bet WHAT?
This is a pretty clear fold. He's been calling all of your raises and playing really passive, and suddenly he blows his load on a 552 flop? This is a monster way way more often than not. IMO, you can only change your mind if you see him start doing more massive overbets.

call [/ QUOTE ] and fold to further action? this was my first thought... I dunno. for people saying allin, what do you think his calling range is? 22/5x/66+ ? Board: 5s 5c 2h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 65.370% 64.73% 00.64% 299904 2970.00 { 55+, 22, A5s, K5s, Q5s, J5s, T5s, 95s, 85s, 75s, 65s, 54s, A5o } Hand 1: 34.630% 33.99% 00.64% 157476 2970.00 { TT } Doesn't look too good to me. I mean sure, if he just called me down or something I'd probably go all the way with the hand but the way he chose to play it I'm not too sure any more. |

Re: You bet WHAT?
Looks like hes trying to stack you here with 5x or 22. If you move in and youre right, you win 300. If youre wrong, youre crushed and you lose 900.
I'd fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] well, this analysis is flawed because we have 2 outs if behind. 10% equity in a 2k pot is 200, which means we are technically losing 700 when called. also, this is a clear value push, bc these kind of opponents can EASILY bet call 2x, 66, or hell, A4. |

Re: You bet WHAT?
i hate all-in. call should freeze the action if he has a worse hand

Re: You bet WHAT?
Yeah, I'm in the fold camp.
This just feels like a hand that beats us. I don't know why because it doesn't make any sense but i guess i recognize the pattern or something. |

Ive given up trying to rationalize fish actions, they dont play well. you have an overpair, raised pot, I would be semi salivating. sure, if your history leads you to feel a fold is more prudent, no one is going to belittle that. however, A + B = C, and here A is a fish, B is an overpair, so C means you should get the money in asap. |
