Default tough blind vs blind spot with AK

villian is aggressive player and has position on me, little bit on loose side but not too much. he has been calling my raise preflop and call bet me few times. and i folded every time on turn. effective stack is $490

i raise $12 in sb with AK, and he calls on bb.
flop: A28 rainbow
i bet $20 bb raises to $66 and i call
turn: 6
i check bb bets $128 and i call
river 9 no flush out there
i check bb pushes for $285 hero??

i decided to just check call because he could have something like AJ and would keep betting, but if i raise he would get away from that hand, is my play ok till river??? and what do i do on river when he pushes? or is there other ways to play this hand better?

This sucks. I would fold unless I've seen him do some really dumb things postflop.
