lol, well played. I had an underpair and your line was so odd that I couldn't figure out what you had. I was planning to c/r the turn, but I hated the ace and then you checked behind anyway. Of course the K on the river just killed me. I hate being oop. lol. I can't believe you checked that turn though. Wuss. Where are these "balls" you talk so much about???

If the turn hadnt been a heart I was going to bet, but I figured the queen and ace had to hit your range a huge percent of the time and now that I'd picked up outs I didnt want to pay 2 bets to suck out on you. Once you checked the river I knew you were screwed with you 88's but wasnt sure if you'd beleive me now that I had checked the turn. I figured though that you'd seen me 3bet you with KQ so you might just assume that I had a hand I was taking to showdown but didnt want to pay a lot for with the A. I decided maybe I hadnt given up the pot and displayed some "balls" on the river.

That's the hand you thought I flopped a set. I think the only debate could be on PF, but with a pot thats going to be at least 4 or 5 ways, I think I can play a suited broadway. Flop raises are pure equity. I think I could have capped, but I wanted the obvious AA/KK leading into the field if I hit it, so I could raise.

yah, i had AKs there, with a bd flush draw, i called, hoping you didn't raise, because when you do raise, you have flush draw or set, both are bad for my hand.

your hand looked fine

No cap on flop for value? You're winning 33%+ and you've got three people in front of you. Or were you putting on of the two passives on a smaller flush draw?

Yeah, I considered it.

I was thinking I wanted the guy with AA/KK to lead the turn, but I doubt capping it will make any difference, as he'll either be scared of the flush card or not.

I play so scared lately. Stupid downswings.

Bahahhahaha. I've seen that a few times.

Once, I got a guy to call with 22 on an XXYY board, and he rivered his set

Another time, I value-bluffed 44 on an XXYY board, and got called by 33, and the river checked through (so not as cool), but he was a total station, so I gave it one try, lol.

Absolute Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $10/$20
2 players

Pre-flop: (2 players) abbaddabba is SB with :4d :2h
abbaddabba calls, BB checks.

Flop: :2d :jc :10d (2SB, 2 players)
BB bets, abbaddabba raises, BB calls.

Turn: :10h (3BB, 2 players)
BB checks, abbaddabba bets, BB calls.

River: :jd (5BB, 2 players)
BB checks, abbaddabba bets, BB calls.

Results:
Final pot: 7BB

BB mucks 33.

This was special 10/20 where the big blind was $15 and the small blind $10. Raising preflop raises it to $20 total. There was a glitch on the HU tables on AP for a while, where you should basically never fold preflop.
