Default Relocation advice, had it with AC area

Need suggestions for a place to move to. My girl and I live the AC area and we're tired of the condo life, traffic, rediculous insurance costs, taxes, weather and so on.

Here's my criteria:

1) Must have casinos w/ poker & table games. It's my industry, and I like to play poker B&M. This is critical - places with racetracks and slots only are no good.

2) Warm year-round. Ideally, no real cold or snow ever, but I can deal if it's mild.

3) Not in an area prone extreme weather such as tornados, hurricanes, volcanos, floods etc. (girl is paranoid about that kind of thing).

4) Somewhere safe + reasonably affordable. My girl and I are in the $140/year range together in southern NJ so we do okay. We appreciate that we may make somewhat less in other areas.

To a lesser degree:

1) Has an NFL team somewhat local
2) Has a hockey team/any league at all
3) FRESH WATER lake - oceans need not apply
4) Commuting distace to metropolitan area

We're cool with being near reservations or whatever... any help would be great, especially if you know specific suburban towns and areas....

Southern California is probably what youre looking for. Lots of casinos there, and very nice weather. Dunno about the fresh water lakes tho lol

No NFL football teams in Los Angeles, closest is San Diego about 120 miles away.

Phoenix?

Anything you could tell me about Arizona? Never been there.

Southern CA is very high on my starting list, but I've never been that way.

There's this place called Vegas.

Considering it, but you can ignore the obvious... It does meet most of our wish list, but I'm not big on the desert, or ho's, or snakes and whatnot.

I was born and rasied in Phoenix, it is ok. Summers are tough though. 110 plus days. 95 to 100 nights in summer. Lakes there are so so. Cost of living is headed up there. East side is the place to live.
I lived in San Diego, best weather of anyplace in the states. Cost of living can get hefty though.
Tunica are is worth a look. Cost of living is great. Football is not to far away. Not sure about hockey.
Wife and I are currently looking to relocate to that area out of the Las Vegas area. Housing is very affordable, food is great and the weather is not bad.
I lived in Oregon for 9 years. Cost of living is jumping, housing is headed up. Indian casinos seem to provide a good income to dealers. Winters are a tad cold a rainy though. Lakes are GREAT for fishing. Trout and Bass are good hits year round.
