The new movie was actually released in other countries months before the US as a test to see if they wanted to show it here. It did REALLY REALLY unexpectedly well especially in asia.

But Atkinson doing Bean is weak compared to Atkinson as Black Adder.

The absolutely funniest Atkinson has done is his one-man stage show, though. Available on DVD:

Haven't seen the Black Adder yet, but one day I will.
