what to do on flop when alot of $went in preflop
hand1: not much read on villian, havent seen him getting out of line but doesnt look like a good player either. effective stake is $420
Hero(sb) with JJ raise to $12, bb reraise to $40, hero makes it $120, bb calls. flop: Q82cc hero?? i guess usually push but what could he have called me preflop?? i think ak or qq he wouldve pushed, so im guessing he could either have aq type of hands or TT,JJ or AA or KK, so wasnt sure what to do. if i check and he bets, or checks what should i do after flop?, and does it change anything if i held AK or 99?? hand 2: villian seems to play very lag against me after i won few pots after i bluffed him on turn and river but didnt show. hes been reraising me preflop few times already. effective stack is $400 i pick up AKhh utg raise to $16, villian makes it $52 on cutoff, i reraise to $152 and he calls. flop: 447ss hero?? i guess its a push but i think he would call me with hands like 88, AQss, or he could have me beat with good hands. if u suggest other action what should i do after flop?? |

2 is a check/fold, 1 is tougher but i think its a check/fold as well, fully expecting those pocket pairs you are ahead of to check it down most of the time.

I shove hand 1 because people will always convince themselves you have AK and you can certainly get call by 99 and TT here. Hand 2 I c/f, and would often just shove preflop.

I assume you were calling a push pf in hand one, right?

Re: what to do on flop when alot of $went in preflop
what if i had TT 99 or AK in hand 1? check fold?
and hand 2: if i had hands like JJ or TT is it ok to shove since there is small chance villian might call me with worse? i usually shove if i was the last reraiser and my stack is about pot size, maybe this is big leak on my game lol |

Re: what to do on flop when alot of $went in preflop
I usually c/f AK in hand one if thats how the action plays out. 99 or 1010, not sure, not sure if I 4bet these.
In hand 2, im shoving any pairs that im 4betting. I don't know if thats good or not. |

Re: what to do on flop when alot of $went in preflop
Hand 1 depends on villain's stats PF. What hands would he raise then reraise? AA KK QQ JJ if he's extremely tight, add AKs AKo KQs QJs TT or even more if he's not. Whether you shove or not depends on how he plays.
Hand 2 should be played more passively than Hand 1. He'll pretty much call you with any pockets plus AKs maybe. |

Re: what to do on flop when alot of $went in preflop
i raise more to open in 1 and i dont think i 4 bet it
as played i really dunno, i think b/f > c/f in 2 i think id either shove or just call pf um i think any line but open shoving 2 is ok... its hard to play these right angainst unknowns OOP... |
