Immortal Technique
I'm not a big fan of rap in general (although I definitely like some rap artists/songs), but this guy is amazing. Below is his best work, IMO. The first one might make you cry, and they'll both give you goosebumps, guaranteed. Enjoy.

Saw him live in Boston a month ago.
I love him. Go download all of his songs immediately. His new CD "The Middle Passage" has been "coming soon" for like 2 years. edited to add: I like this freestyle also. I find him technically talented, and yet really boring. Mostly his whole asthetic is just kinda stale. I wish I liked him more, just because I wish there were more solid political MCs, but something isn't clicking.

to me he just sounds like he's trying to string together as many five syllable words as he can, even if they aren't the best way to make his point. not all that interested

He would be like 2x as good if he wasn't completely paranoid about govt. stuff IMO. I guess I'm too much of a "numbers" rapper fan, *shrug*.
