Default San Diego Casinos/Poker Rooms with NL

I'm heading to San Diego for the weekend, and I know there's some poker rooms around there, but which place would be the best (juiciest) room with low stakes NL? I'm thinking about playing some 1/2 or 2/4 and want to know which ones people like, and how far they are from the mission beach area. I'm staying at a place called surfer beach hotel, and I'm not to familiar with the area. Any advice you could give me would be awesome. Thanks.

A couple of options:

Viejas and Barona both of which you can get to by taking the 8 east....your looking at close to 45 minute drive depending how fast you drive. I prefer Viejas personally they spread a 1-3NL game max buyin $300 usually have 2-4 tables going at a time. The games aren't too difficult, for the most part they dont get much higher games going unless its busy so there are a mix of decent and above average players.

Also Sunday morning at 10am they have a Bounty tourny $12 + $2 for an extra $500 in chips that is worth playing. Your first time playing you get a voucher for free tourny entry you just have to pay the $2 for an extra chip but if your interested in that make sure to be there by 9am otherwise you will be an alternate which is horrible given there structure.

Sucks that I didn't get to read the responses to this thread before I left...I ended up going to Oceans 11 after reading some site that said it had a bunch of small stakes crazy games (so not true). My girlfriend loves to play, but is scared of the tables, and I thought it would be a good place to give her $80 to play the cheap games while I went and played some higher stakes games. However, I thought it was actually a casino, and since she likes the slots and stupid games, she ended up being token "bored girlfriend" sitting behind me at the 2/3 NL table. I was suprised at how bad the play was at a place that looked like a shark tank. I bought in for $160, got up to about $400 thanks to a tilting regular, then left after about 30-45 minutes total. I got a real shady feeling about the place, but I think they locals didn't trust me and maybe thought I was some sort of angler since I had the "bored girlfriend" and was the out of towner who cashed out quick.

The locals said that Verona (Berona) was the best card room with casino, and some other place too that I forgot. Thanks for the responses though...and for the record, I'd recommend oceans 11 for somebody looking for a solid "card room" instead of a "casino."
