A few good players try to (frequently) take advantage of all the passives, villain is one of those. So, his range is wide. The game is hard to crack.

Also, if villain indeed has a big hand, he has a tendency to pay.

Jim,
I was basically taking a shot to recoup. Once the flop came, I thought c/r all in was the play since I did the same to villain earlier with set over.

What is our equity HU against an overpair on the flop?

But I welcome you to come and play (Calhoun, GA) and see.

Agree with previous posters, never call preflop here.

Once you see that flop though its as pretty as you can ask for and get it allin, preferably a c/r.

This question isn't important. The question is how often we outflop and overpair, or flop a profitable draw. The answer is not nearly often enough. ~5 or 6%

I would have folded PF without much thought.

So you call from the blinds with SCs and 200BBs? I dont get it. Aren't you making yourself just another "passive" with this play?
