[ QUOTE ]
So out of sheer curiousity combined with slight boredom I clicked, for the first time ever, at the Play Money tab on FT and now I'm just completely bewildered, and the source of my confusion is this: there are 300/600NL tables with everyone sitting on 600,000 in obviously play money chips but they seem fully rolled, and doesn't everyone start with 1,000 chips and if you bust you can request 1,000 more? So did these people seriously built 1,000 into 600,000+??! And if someone had the skill to do that, why wouldn't he just play .25/.50 or something? 5-tabling @ 5PTBB he would still earn $25/hr, which isn't much but still more than the majority of people actually make.

Kirk

PS. Okay, asked them and some of them have 20Mil+ bankrolls. [censored] sick.

Play money is like playing online games. People think they are winning something except they are all losers.

And yes, I have a million PR play moneys. You can buy them for $10 so you can sit at the high tables with the cool kids.

I'm not going to lie, play money chips got my br started.

I had 100+mil, then sold them (I dunno why anyone would buy fake money) for about 50$. 4 months later 50$=18k.

I've played vs Grim HU too and he definitely plays that loose a lot of the time. I made the screenshot myself, it's from a datamined DB and isn't altered in any way.

Anyway, 47/43 isn't even that loose HU. Not enough so that you'd particularly notice or anything anyway.

i like grim's hu strategy of reraising 25% of his hands from the bb.

I need 5-10k on cake poker for FTP. All the usual stuff (got references, will send first to respected poster in small chunks etc). Also looking to trade a bit of FTP for stars 5-10 k as well.

Sidenote: are there any issues with cake? cashing out, etc? I am gonna open an acct there and need to get rakeback etc but think I will get it through this is the nuts... but what bout the cashouts? Are they seamless?
