Re: Post a Picture and specs of the biggest fish you have caught
per the striped bass length to weight chart at stripers online, a 43" bass could be between 25 and 35 pounds. since you caught it in Maine, probably after it started its annual massive feeding binge and before it's marathon migration to north carolina, it was probably near the top end of that range, so 33 lbs is a pretty good guess.

Re: Post a Picture and specs of the biggest fish you have caught
I caught a 46 pound carp in Ohio years ago, 4 pounds off the state record. I was so disappointed when we weighed it. I'm the blond doofus with the bad hair, as I had fought the bastard for 45 minutes and felt a cigar was in order.

Not biggest fish, just some. I am a huge fan of fishing, I wish I lived on a coast, but as far as living inland, Minnesota isn't a bad spot to be.

reasonable facsimile. Mine was 683 pounds, two hours twenty minutes in the chair. This was back when we got 5 cents a pound, now it can be $20 a pound due to Japanese market. damn. |
