Re: NL100 - OOP lead from TAG in raised pot, what are the best options
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I think 99 is a fold. TT is borderline, and everything else above that (along with sets and draws) is a call. [/ QUOTE ] Seriously, is there that much of a difference in the strength between 99 and 10,10...or even J,J on a board like this? [/ QUOTE ] I think so just because some people will b/f 99 on this flop OOP...but like I said, I think even TT is borderline if the player is a predictable TAG. |

It sounds like you're calling with 99, so what's your plan for any non-nine turn? Fold to any bet and bet if checked to? [/ QUOTE ] Assuming no reads, fold/check. 99 is such a small part of my range here that I don't think it matters a whole lot. |

Re: NL100 - OOP lead from TAG in raised pot, what are the best options
i dont really keep notes on players at all, so my philosophy is basically raise. im raising A LOT here, including medium overpairs (like 99-QQ), draws like 45s, even pairs like 55-77. ill prob call with AA or KK, and call with sets. when i raise, im planning on folding to heat on flop or another turn bet with my pairs. is this bad? i think it defines where we are very well, and it also looks pretty strong, so i think we can get a lot of marginal hands to fold, and very often we can get a turn check from this. thoughts?
