Default NL100 Srcewed up the turn w/ Top Pair + Nutflushdraw

Ok I totaly screwed this up. How are you playing the turn? Call and fold to a big river bet because he most likely has a set at this point (c / raising with two opponents)

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $142.03
BB: $129.19
UTG: $88.08
MP: $139.12
CO: $107.88
Hero (BTN): $194.50

Reads: <font color="blue">24 / 18 / 2,4</font>

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $1.00, MP folds, CO calls $1.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5.00</font>, SB calls $4.50, BB calls $4.00, UTG folds, CO calls $4.00

Flop: ($21) T 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">BB bets $3.00</font>, CO folds, Hero calls $3.00, <font color="red">SB raises to $17.00</font>, BB folds, Hero calls $14.00

Turn: ($58) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $39.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $172.50</font>, SB folds

Pot Size: $269.50

This is good.

Edit: NM. It's bad. But you've got pot odds to call, so peel one and fold unimproved.

Better hands calling isn't a bad thing if you fold out better ones too. But you're right. It's not good. See my edit above.

You have several outs to the nuts.

ideally i'd make a small raise on the flop, build a pot (with regards to BB lead).

As played the A is a scare card: on the turn we're behind to AJ,77,TT,JJ,89, KQ we're ahead of JT,KJ, draw or a bluff. Of all the hands that don't fold to your turn raise, you're only ahead of JT. I would just call his turn lead and try to keep villain in the hand.

I think this kind of play is a leak for a lot of SSNL, myself included. Call &gt; Fold &gt; Shove, IMO, unless we're playing with droolers or a TON of the right kind of history.

just call turn and get it in on the river. he'll bet river or call a bet with lots of hands that he folds to the push, and villain has hardly any outs if behind so youre not worried about him drawing cheap.

could be a nice spot for a minraise (obv calling a shove), just to make river an easier push

On what range do you put him after the c / raise vs. two people?
