Yea that was the longest line at Station I had ever seen. Apparently there was a rumor that the guys from Red Hot Chili Peppers were going there after their concert. I got there around 11 because a bunch of girls I know where are already there, but said eff it as soon as we got there. But I agree Station is not that cool.

Karak, the bars get raided by cops because you can get in as long as you are atleast 19, so they love to catch the underage kids with drinks in hand to charge a $290 drinking ticket. I've gotten two.

Brothers, Murphy's and Legends are all solid chill bars. Kam's is an illini tradition, even though it is a POS. CO's, Stations, and Clybourne are all loud typical dirty, smelly college bars with fat chicks dancing on poles.

Joe's is a very good bar when it is nice (read: warm) outside. They have a nice beer garden to hang out in.

My friend's apt. complex fire alarm went off at like 2, but we stayed inside even though cops and firemen were roaming the hallways. No one I know got arrested, etc.

I got to Joes at about 11:30 a.m. and didnt have to wait in line at all. The only shots that they were able to give us were jagerbomb type shots where it wasnt straight. The entire day was super awesome. This was the first time I made the trek from WIU.

Yea Joe's is probably my favorite bar. It easy to get to the bar, they play really good music, and I know the bartender and she gets us either free drinks or dollar drinks. She also gets us cups of tequila to pour into shots for a dollar! Plus she can drink with us. Joes Rules.
