I worked for Fritz's for 3 years in high school and they are some of the biggest pricks I've ever dealt with in my life. Not saying you shouldn't go there, but if the owners happen to be there, tell em to [censored] off for me.

My 2 best friends worked at Ted Drewes, and Im pretty sure fritz management has nothing on the Douche bag GM at Ted drewes, some of the stories they told are ridic. And they all worked about 50 hours a week during the summer as 16 year olds, if they didnt they got fired.

In st. louis: The hill, walk around, sample a few restaurants, drink at a few bars, play bocce at milo's, if you search I posted pics from my balcolny, you can see milo's i think. Its about 10 minutes from the stadium, forest park (forest park has the art museum, the zoo, history museum, the jewel box etc in it), also is about 5 min from the Botanical Gardens. At night, depending on what you are looking for, hit up the landing (cheap young whores who like to go clubbing) or Soulard (cheap young whores who arent into clubbing, but like a more laid back bar). Miso's, The Pepper Lounge, or Nectar, are more "upscale" places to party, with Miso's being laid back. The best pizza in St. Lois is Pizzeria Della Piazza on the hill, only open fri, sat, sun.

Chicago: chicago Chop house, lots of capone gangster memorabila, great steaks, the bread gave me a hard on. The Cro Bar, and the strip club next to it are great, The sound bar is the defualt club to hit up. Legends about 5 blocks down from the Palmer House is a great blues club.

Edit: I cant believe Astro isnt a fan of pork steaks, its one of the best things ever. Also, I will export ravioli to anyone interested for a nominal fee.

Astro, having grown up in St. Louis, I've never even heard of Fritz's.

Where is it located?

STL: You have to hit up Paddy O's bar either pre or post-game, or both. It's right outside the stadium and is always packed. I'll second the brewery tour, and the botanical gardens. I really like the Central West End for a more upscale dinner/bar. A new wine bar named Brandt's just opened up and is great. A lot of good bottled beer and beer on tap.

Chi-town: If you're looking for a non-bar night time activity, check out Second City. Improv and sketch comedy where Chris Farley, Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and a bunch of others got their start. I personally think Ed Debevic's is over-rated.

Astro: you live in Clayton and you don't go to Mr. Wizard's??? Blasphemy.

A lot of people have mentioned plenty of things to do in Chicago already .. all good advice, pick a few things and go with it. I'd like to throw in the idea of going to the Field Museum to see the current "King Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit. I went several years ago when I was younger, and from what I remember it was pretty damn sweet. They have added a lot of pieces not viewed before, and it should be much better than before. If I get a weekend free, I will be going there myself.
