Post a secret from your Vault
Everyone has a Vault. Seinfeld brought them to the forefront, but everyone has had them since the dawn of man.
It holds your secrets that can never see the light of day without cataclysmic ramifications. Without naming names or incriminating any parties directly, post yours here. Mine: I have a friend who broke up with his gf of many years, banged another friends sister (all parties know each other), then got back together with gf and married and had children. He never told his wife about it and if she ever found out now, life as he knows it would cease to exist. I understand this is pretty mild, but it's all I have. Please post some examples of what a real Vault contains.

So you're saying she would divorce him and ruin her kids' childhood based on something that happened years ago before they were married and not even together?

My first wife demanded that I sever all ties and never again speak to one of my closest (girl) friends, because she discovered I had 'fooled around' with her (heavy petting, no sex) in high school. This discovery occurred some 12 years after the fooling around occurred and said friend was married with 3 kids.

When I was in high school, one of my friends ("Joe") would routinely bang another friend's ("Bill") sister behind his back. She was a 15 year old sophomore, he was an 18 year old senior. Joe would go over to Bill's house under the pretense of hanging out with Bill. When Bill would leave for a few minutes to walk the dog, Joe would stick his dick in Bill's sister. This went on regularly for well over a year and Joe was never the wiser. For about 5 or 6 years afterwards, Joe would hook up with Bill's sister on a semi-regular basis.
Bill considered Joe to be his best friend. If Bill were to get married today, he'd probably make Joe his best man. Bill also thinks quite highly of his sister, and it would have absolutely killed him to find out that Joe was banging her. I found out about this about a year after it started when Joe drunkenly confessed everything to me. It's been almost 15 years, and I'm still friends with both of them, and Bill still has no clue as to what went on.
