Villain was somewhat loose and pretty aggressive when he had the lead. I had no good read on him as I don't recall seeing any of his hands going to showdown. Is this just a simple raise here to around 10?

Raise that up on the button! As played, raise the flop. You're way ahead of villain's range, and can't afford to give free cards to a heart. Make a pot-sized raise to about $11.

Yeh id raise it up to 10-12, you said villian was loose, kind aggro, so we cant instantly give him credit for flopping the flush, He is Pf raiser, he could lead out have a multitude of hands, AhK overpairs, KQ, AJ, AT, Ahx. could be c-bet with air/rags So yeh i would raise it up, dont want him drawing for cheap.
