there are some snooker bets at bodog that have value if you assume Pinny has the correct line:

Pinny
Ding Jun-hui -159
John Higgins +149
[vigfree 153]

Ronnie O'Sullivan -250
Stephen Hendry +230
[vigfree 236]

Bodog has Jun-hui -150 and O'Sullivan -225. So both of the favs have value and O'Sullivan is even arbable.

One caveat the last time I tried this Pinny changed their line to be closer to Bodogs and I ended up on the wrong side. COuld Bodog really be sharper than Pinny at Snooker? Is there a British book that would have even sharper lines (assuming the british bet snooker the most). My gut says that was an isolated incident and that most of the time Pinny will be sharper and I will have the beat the closing line.

Oooh baby. Packers +250 to win NFC Conference.

28.57% is breakeven. Juicy line?

Question:

I'm looking at futures bets. The lines are for divisional champions outright.

Does this mean if two teams finish with the same record I lose the bet even if my team has the tiebreaker?

Whichever team won the tiebreaker would be declared the divisional champion, so if you bet on that team you'd win.

Does anyone see value in Redskins -5.5? I'm a homer but I think the team might be able to rally around each other and play for Sean Taylor's memory.

Is this kind of thing overrated? Thanks in advance.

The team could just as well have an emotional letdown. I don't think looking into stuff like that is wise. The Bills are still supposed to be playing for Everett, and they've been blown in two straight games since his message.

Wasn't Sean Taylor pretty good also? I mean losing a top level safety can't really be a boost?

Sure, but we can win games w/o him too. They nearly beat Dallas and Tampa when he was not in the lineup.

He was out with injury already.

I have a teaser question.

I'm looking at a 6 pt 2-team teaser right now. One of the teams, however would be the Eagles +3 (-130).

Now, obviously I know that teasing across the zero is bad bad bad. My question is, since -3.0 (-130) is effectively -3.5 (-104), I'm getting close to 6.5 points for this teaser as I get the same 10/11 odds regardless of the vig of the games I'm teasing.

How can I go about calculating whether or not this is worth it? Thanks for the help.
