From what I read, before he became a total mess he wasnt even playing that much poker cuz it turned into a total grind. Instead he would just bet on sports and find other ways to gamble. So if he was alive today he would be on the 200/400 plo games on ftp LDO.

from what i've read
Stu Unger's style of play was similar to that of Layne Flack; also, according to one contemporary i heard in a radio interview (sorry, can't recall the name) Unger's style was effective in tournies and short handed, but in a full ring cash game he was not good. i doubt if all his innate genius could overcome the volume of computer analysis now available--he would probably have had to adapt his play

He's living in Florida with Bigfoot and Elvis. They make made cash posting mall upskirt shots on the intra-webs, and then lose it all betting on Jeopardy reruns.
