PLO 100 - Reraised aces, donked on the flop
No hand history so I am recollecting from memory.
Villain is generally very aggressive/tricky, overextends himself. PLO 100 full ring, I have $100, on the button, and villain covers me. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain pots under the gun ($3.50), all fold to me, I repot to ($12), all fold to villain who calls. Board is J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain donks into me for $25. My move? I am often a tiny favourite on the flop as villain is capable to lead here with draws, but I have almost no fold equity if I were to raise here. It is of course easy for villain to also have wrap draw, combo draws or two pair - in which I'm behind. Opinions? |

Re: PLO 100 - Reraised aces, donked on the flop
Just fold, you're probably about 40-45% against villian but you only need to be a big dog occasionally to make continuing a huge mistake. I do see players lead in this spot with top set in order to give off the impression that they have a draw and try to get an overpair to push all-in.

Re: PLO 100 - Reraised aces, donked on the flop
I would fold this flop. If you do not 3 bet preflop LP with anything other than Aces, you might not want to 3 bet this hand preflop because other than an ace hitting the flop, and some percentage of the time you are checked to, you probably wont be betting many of the flops you see with aa74.
