That was the same crew (Penn Wagers) that did the Auburn/LSU game, so yeah...horrible. They have a history as well. (Bama/LSU 2 years ago I think?) But cmon TFG, you're saying they should have ejected the players who ran on the field there? WTF? Players run on the field all the time to celebrate, granted not that many, but I've never seen an ejection. That would be horrible. If that's not what you're saying, then what do you mean about "calling these type of rules properly?"

[/ QUOTE ] Same crew that blew the last second illegal touching calling in the Alabama/Ole Miss game. Although that screwup is strickly on the replay offical Doyle Jackson. The on the field crew did miss an OBVIOUS fumble in the first half.

I don't really get on them about missed calls that are human error.

[/ QUOTE ]
Understandable, since the worst SEC call this century has been the excessive celebration call that went UF's way. Just human error, guys!

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, I don't know wtf that guy was thinking, but you know what I mean.

What would you consider a flagrant offense of the above rule, Tiger?

[/ QUOTE ]

If Tebow's girlfriend ran onto the field, I'd consider that flagrant. I'd allow it though.

[/ QUOTE ]

seriously....

I kinda figured that alumni buying boob jobs for players' girlfriends would be a NCAA violation.

No, that pic has been flying around the internet for ages. I don't think he even has one.

That's more like an insurance policy, reducing variance when something bad happens. Boob jobs for hos would be more of like (indirect) compensation, since they have "value" going forward (assuming the chick doesn't dump him, which I presume the boosters would intervene to prevent).

ChipWrecked- Aren't you an Arky fan? You should know the Ark/SC game was the ESPN game. That was CBS.

Some huge games this week:
UF @ SC - Obvious Spurrier storylines + UF keeping BCS and SEC hopes alive. SC trying to stop the collapse.

AU @ UGA - Oldest rivalry in the South and one of the closest, competitively speaking. UGA trying to stay alive in the East. Auburn looking for revenge. The winner stays alive for an at-large BCS spot as well.

Ark @ Tenn - Tennessee can put a hammer-lock on the East title. McFadden looking for another Heisman performance.

Bama @ MSU - Potential letdown spot for Bama and MSU looking for their first big home win in awhile.

Kentucky @ Vandy - Under the radar game, but both teams desperately need the W to avoid spoiling all the good will they got from their recent upset wins.

Look at the point spreads for these games and that's all you need to know about the SEC this year. All of them under 7 points.

LSU's defense is looking softer by the week. I'm not sure they're the 2nd best team in the country - Oregon and even Kansas have impressed me more in addition to Ohio State and possibly Oklahoma.

They kinda remind me of the Kobe-Shaq Laker teams near the end, only with more thugs (Jackson, Perilloux) - they can't get interested in the game until their backs are against the wall. This is not a redeeming trait.
