middle pair on flop in LP. C/R by LAG.
MP2 = LAG.
I have K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in CO. UTG+1, MP1, and MP2 limp. I also limp. BB checks. (5 on flop) Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] All checks to me, so I bet. All folds to MP2 who raises. At this point, there's nothing I can do but let it go, right? No redraws, middle pair, fairly uncoordinated board. He has me beat, right? But was it correct to at least take a stab at the pot with middle pair? |

Re: middle pair on flop in LP. C/R by LAG.
you mean MP2 check raised you? or you were button?
looks good so far, whether you peel, showdown or fold is really read dependent. Realize you're getting 8:1 on a call closing the action in position and that's about how likely you are to improve to 2 pair or better on the turn, so if he's really aggressive and could have almost any Ax then you should probably at least see a turn. |

Xhad: Yes, sorry. It was MP2's C/R. I just edited my post to correct that error. And thanks for your help; your post makes a lot of sense.

Re: middle pair on flop in LP. C/R by LAG.
if u tagged him as a lag he would raise a king on the flop. he would probably wait til turn to raise a nice ace. i might 3-bet here and bet turn to get him to laydown. idk im an overaggressive donk though it would depend on numbers. do u know what his Pt numbers are
