Wow. Crazy.

Pretty much everyone hates the 33 shove there. I'm on AOL with a buncha mtt'rs and we all think it was v standard..

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not an mtt expert, but would love to hear the rationale from guys that are.

[/ QUOTE ]

His range IMO is A2+KT+QJ+22+Suited connectors.

He has 500K in overlay.

Also keep in mind. They are seeing SOOOOOOO few hands here. Like 14 an hour. This is somewhat like playing a turbo online with the blinds going up soon. You have to keep in mind that your not seeing a ton of hands before blinds go up again.

I don't think the shove is great, or bad. I think it's "okay" and definitely not terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, terrible was too strong, but it is definitely marginal at best.

33 --> very VERY bad, sorry...
he cant expect more than 50-50, best case scenario... what was he thinking???

[/ QUOTE ]

He was thinking that he only needs 42.9% equity if the BB folds. The BB will fold all but about 2% of his hands. The UTG raiser was in front of the BB with 4 BB and had a big range. Pushing with 33 is not so bad. Even if the UTG hand range is only something like 22+,A4+,KT+ his equity isn't terrible (and I think the UTG range is wider than that). That's 208 coinflips (53%), 6 dominating (80%), 72 big pocket pairs (20%), 1 tie (50%). All told that is around 45.2% equity. It is pretty marginal but close.

I was just able to check pokernews for the first time today & I'm absolutley speechless over Hilms hilming off his stack like that. I think we can retire "donk" from the lexicon.

If Khan can catch anything he's got this. Scotty must be dying a thousand deaths if he's watching.

And I see Alex quickly got back to his comfort zone.
