Default TP2K, raised on the flop...do I 3-bet?

Villain is 58/10

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($5)
BB ($10.75)
Hero ($12.10)
MP ($4.40)
CO ($14.20)
Button ($9.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $0.4, 3 folds, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold.

Flop: ($0.90) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.7, SB raises to $1.5, Hero calls $0.80.

Turn: ($3.90) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($3.90) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

So my thinking on the checkdown was: Check on the turn to keep the pot small, since he raised, then on the river the flush draw came in and I figured the only think I'm beating is a smaller queen, so I just wanted a showdown.

My question is: Was this line decent, and is it smart to reraise him on this flop?

You're missing value here. Turn check is prolly fine, but I would valuebet the river. Ax will call you here 100% time and he would lead here with a flush.

With a villain whos 58/10 I'd at least put in a value bet on the river after his check, something like $1.25

Don't 3-bet the flop without any reads. It turns your hand into a bluff.

Definitely bet the river because you're pretty sure you have the best hand now. His second check looks like he was raising the flop with an underpair or a weak ace to see where he was at. Or maybe he had A3 and got counterfitted on the turn, but again you have the best hand. If he check-raises then you can fold. But most of the time you're ahead so there is value in betting.

I don't mind calling the flop and reevaluating the turn. The turn cards is actually a good card. His check here screams either A2 that just got counterfeited or a flushdraw that didn't get there. So I'd bet the turn or river. I prefer the turn, since you still get value from the flushdraw.
