Default Re: CPA in an illegal state??

[ QUOTE ]
I was wondering what people thought about this. I dont make a large sum of money playing poker but it is my only income. I will most likely be filing as a pro because of this next year.

My main ? is would it be a good idea to try and hire someone to pay my taxes like a cpa. Was wondering what people thought about this.

Mainly wondering about the 2 states WA and LA where they have strict unenforced laws.

Thanks for the great input. Sorry i cant spell specially at 2 am.

Anyone have any thoughts on the actual post

I under stand claiming the winnings as gambling income thats what i already do. Although i haven't filed all the sessions separately. And i was thinking of using a CPA.

I'm assuming you have to show him all your sessions. I was guessing he might wonder how i can play like 50 sit in goes in a day when each takes like an hour.
