I don't really use PT... I am not one of the top winners in the NL games, i would guess it has something to do with hands played, stakes played, net $$$ won, rake generated, etc...

How big is the field? There is exactly 12 professionals and how many PP players? If PP is giving this opportunity to the players who have made the most money at PP, then wouldn't this be a tough game? It's going to be a donkament. And by the way, PP is only doing this to check out your mom.

Received another call today
Got a call from the same guy today. He stated the tournament had been moved to the last week of September. It is now 12 PP players, 6 celebrities, and 18 pros. 1st place pays $500K and 2nd place $250K. Not sure if any other places get payed, but someone mentioned earlier in the thread only the top 2. I asked him the venue, he stated that hadn't been finalized yet, but he mentioned Caesar's Palace. He wasn't able to give me any of the names of the celebs or the pros. He stated it would be televised on ABC ( --> ?? I don't know of any poker being shown on that network before). Has anyone else heard about this tourny or know anything else about it?
