Planning NYC upper east side 21rst B-day party
As the title says, I'm planning a 21rst B-day party on a Friday and I want to stay around the upper east side because that is where the apartments are where all in attendence will crash and no drunken cab/subway has been the way to go in my experience.
Everyone going will be over 21 and we're looking for more cool bars/beer pong tables good atmospheme than club/lounge type things but any input on anything you guys can give would be appreciated, thanks. Also, we're going this Friday so live music would also be cool if anyone knows anything. And if you think staying in the upper east side is a big mistake, feel free to tell me that as well. |

21 year olds upper east side? The Big Easy is the place for you. Go downtown to off the wagon as well. All stuff you will like

Don't know the Upper East Side that well, but Murray Hill has a nice string of bars on 3rd Ave. between 37th and 34th, if you guys don't mind making the drunken walk.
There's also a good mix of loud bars and chill ones. |

2nd Ave betwen 70th and 85th or so has about 10 bars/block. Most of them are pretty cool and it's easy to tell which will be fun.

Honestly, take cabs.
But if you must, beer pong at Pat O'Briens on 89th and 2nd ave. Also, I'm a big fan of Ryan's Daughter and Kinsale Tavern. But honestly, go downtown. |
