Call my crazy but couldn't Jman spend $80 on an web designer and have his own site up in like 2 days and pay himself what he wants and charge what he wants.

I don't think you understand how much work Taylor and andrew(and a couple others) put into the site. it IS their full time job now. to run a site w/ that many members it takes a lot of hours, and its not something you can do in your spare time(which is why u don't see others copying them).

one thing hasn't been mentioned, and was a big step for them was adding Schneids as a guest pro, and getting him to make some videos recently. I don't play min bet hold them but I still liked his videos

if they hired a proper web designer, a sight like this is VERY EASY to maintain. Porn has been doing it for years.

Considering there are accounts/subscription and payment management/DRM/etc, no it's not that easy to build up. It's not hard either but it won't just cost "80 bucks to hire a web designer". It'll take a lot more than that. If you want something decent/secure that is.

I can't tell a public message board all of the changes for some very obvious reasons

[/ QUOTE ]

Because someone looking to make a business copying yours wouldn't be willing to sink $125 into the effort?

[ QUOTE ]

think new instructors

[/ QUOTE ]

Who? Won't this be public anyway? Was input requested from the user base for whom they wanted to see?

[ QUOTE ]
new website with new features and tools to help improve your game

[/ QUOTE ]

That clears things up. Is your big tada going to be a hand history viewer? Or new microphones for your instructors.

[/ QUOTE ]

you sir, are a douchebag.

Trust me. I program sites all day long. You make simple interfaces for all this stuff. Managing the content is simple. As for subscriptions/payments blah blah there are tons of ready my scripts and solutions out there that can be implemented with ease. The reason why people aren't copying the site is they aren't that good of players to make useful videos for everyone else. Anyone who wants to make videos and is as good as the CR pro's and guest feel free to contact me and we can get started on a site. I got the logo developed already.
