Call reraise, check/push turn? Or just 3bet all in (I like the chck/push turn because it adds more bluffs to his range)

Re: 25NL - AKo TPTK good enough against LAG?
With his stats, I push preflop.
Its possible u are beat, but as played I think u should call and check call all-in on turn (let him keep bluffing on turn). |

Re: 25NL - AKo TPTK good enough against LAG?
I think pushing flop and calling c/r AI turn are both good option since villian isn't going anywhere and will most likely bet on the turn

Re: 25NL - AKo TPTK good enough against LAG?
I 4-bet pf OOP, but I don't mind trying to hook first so he can hang himself when you hit. However, if you're going to call, then I think the best line needs to be c/c flop, crai turn. As played, call and let him put it in on the turn. If it checks through, get it in on the river.
Did the size of his pf 3-bet scare you? Had you seen this from him before? |

He probably has AK as well... if not your probably winning [/ QUOTE ] And your advice here is ? Please try to make constructive comments, it will help both the OP, and your own thought process. Villain in this hand is 48/30. He will probably 3bet light a fair amount. This is probably the type of villain that wants to pick up a lot of pots, and wont be pushed around (lol, rounders). Having said this, there's no other card in the deck that can come on the turn that makes me change my mind about putting my entire stack to the middle. IMO, the best to get this is to check to him on the turn, and either c/r AI or call his shove. If he checks behind, Im shoving river for value. By doing this, you are allowing villain to fire another possible bluff on the turn. In his range are still a set, any pocket pair of 99+, KTo+, and perhaps a weird gutshot. In addition to that, I feel villain will bluff a fair amount aswell. Many of those hands will still bet the turn, but fold to a push on the flop. |

Re: 25NL - AKo TPTK good enough against LAG?
I think most likely, u have hime beat, unless he has AK as well which u lose in rake. I doubt he has a set, as he wouldnt play 88 or 22 like that preflop. i usually 4bet with AK, i dont know if its the right thing to do or not, but thats another discussion. i would push flop. after a 3bet preflop and i get TPTK, i usually push.

Re: 25NL - AKo TPTK good enough against LAG?
Thanks for the replies, I actually pushed flop and the guy called, flipped over a K8s, ouch. Was pretty card dead at that table for the rest of the night so I didn't get my money back.
Just seeing if I was right in wanting to get my stack in the middle. |
