I just caught a snake what should I do with it?

So I'm at my friends place in East Hampton for the week and we just caught a snake in the pool. It appears to be a young northern milk snake, about 7 inches long. Right now it's in a bucket. I grabbed some bugs out of the pool and threw them in for food. I feel like we should be able to have some fun with this thing but I'm lacking ideas. I don't want to hurt it. Ideas?

It's too small to eat mice I guess at 7"... I dunno, I might keep it and see if it grows up. My brother has a rat snake that was supposed to live 3-6 years and it's like 13 or something. You just feed it every other week or some [censored], they live forever. As far as fun goes... other than unleashing it in the woman's dressing room at the mall, your guess is as good as mine.

your 'fun' will kill it, even if you dont mean to. return it from whence it came. any leafy spot will do (non parking lot landscaping).
