This is about the only donkament I play and it a nice change.
Just lost 2/3 stack, down to 11K.

these tournament were a lot more fun for me when i played dime/quarter.
now i need a final table to feel like the tournament was +ev due to loss of opportunity cost.

i agree with that

but i also like the change (something different)

I take it more as entertainment I won't play my normal cash games during it usually, and watch movies and just make it enjoyable.

I played in the donktastic 3.30 + Rebuys last night and placed 72nd out of like 2700 for a whopping $50. It was fun but man what a grind for a pitiful check. The final table is the only place for meaningful dough.

I'm pretty sure Stars is looking to 86 them next year and replace them with either a drawing or a monthly bonus.

There's been a lot of discussion about it lately with some of Stars' representatives.
