Default 30NL: backdoor flush facing 3bet (175bb deep)

Villian is 32/0/0.55 over 22 hands (including this one).

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.15/$0.30 Blinds - 3 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

UTG: $97.00
Hero (BTN): $71.90
SB: $52.40
BB: $40

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.05, SB calls $0.90, BB folds

Flop: ($2.40) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.40) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($5.40) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $5.40, Hero raises to $17.40, SB raises all-in to $49.85, Hero ???

Is there value in my river raise? It seems like the only hands that call are ThXh and 7x, altough he may call with AK/AQ/AT once in a while.

As played it's an easy fold, right?

edit: fixed the hand history

Gettting about 2:1, I don't think it's an easy fold. Villain may be confused by your line, but if he has 7x, he still may like his hand a lot. It's also possible he caught a straight with his 98. And the ThXh hand you mention is also entirely possible.

Annoyingly, a whiffed turn checkraise (or a check-call continuation of the slowplay) with a boat seems like the most likely holding once Villain 3-bets all-in on the river, but I would take my chances.

Meanwhile, the original raise seems fine to me. Villain won't have a better hand very often, and I think you'll get your share of curiosity calls. Maybe it's not that hard to figure out what probably happened when you raise the river -- and of course Villain also has to worry about a sandbagged monster in a game as trappy as micro NL -- but I think a lot of players are going to be confused by your line.

Its very very likely he has QThh. I doubt AK AQ AT very much. Its also very unlikely he has something with a 7 unless its quads.

Your raise on the river is standard.

Also, I call. It might be very bad however.

Thanks for the replies.

I folded the hand but am not sure if this is right after your comments.

There are only like 2-3 combination of bd flush draws against 13 combos of boats so it comes down to wether he can show up here with a naked 7 or not and I don't think he calls the flop and 3bets the river with it very often plus there are only a few 7s in his coldcalling range.
I actually missed that 89 got there but I think the same reasoning as with the 7 applies.

He had AA this time.

easy fold, your line is too obvious. i don't really mind a river raise but def fold to a shove especially given his stats

That's what I thought at first but I think calling is missing alot of value.
Then again raise/folding seems ugly in retrospect.

I dont get why you shouldnt raise river? I think folding to the three bet is good but villians line looks alot more like a weak ace or missed draw than a slowplayed set/boat. I mean line is c/c c/c bet pot? I would raise this river esp since it's BTN vs blinds. I like how you played this.
