I prefer to checkraise the flop, and then keep pounding it, which gets you more fold equity if his draws miss. I don't think you get enough folds once he bets the turn by checkraising. Most players, especially the straightforward ones, check behind here a lot if they don't have a decently strong high hand. Not that I would not take your line here, I would just keep it infrequent.

First thought was UTG+1 has a 2 in his hand often enough combined with all the other possibilities (FD/nut low draws with backup) that you will be hard pressed to make him fold it.

Idea is good. Board would seem to hit him to hard to often though (in terms of possibility which in turn means curiosity).
