Default Srs Question

having a really tough time deciding on what uni to go to. I've narrowed it down to 2 choices. The first is edinburgh. Givin that i want to study english, getting a degree from this university would be recognised all over the world as a first rate qualification and would open so many doors for me all across the world. BUT, heres the puchline, edinbrugh U is full of poor little rich kids with silver spoons shoved in every oriphis. Now im not portraying myself as the kid from da block or anything, but this just isn't my kind of thing. I have a couple of friends going there for def. so i wouldn't be totally on my own but even still, the social scene kind of sucks.
On the other hand there is dundee U...ahhh dundee U, i know like 100 people at that uni already and they have like, teh best student Union in scotland. Im purty sure dundee Uni would be a sick blast, they have nice shopping centres, nice clubs, good bars, not far from home (but then nowhere really is in scotland) and a poker society. Oh and dig this, Dundee supply a free bus service to take you to your dorm when you're wasted, and, if you are totally out of your face, take you to your room. BALLIN! But then, a degree from dundee just doesnt have the wow factor that the one from edinburgh does. So, what it do BBV, edinburgh or dundee?

Go to Edinburgh, party at Dundee on the weekends. If you know so many people there it shouldn't be hard to find couches to crash on.

i am liking this line after the first year, but in the first year, most of the friends who are there already will be hanging out with the friends i have now at school in the union, exclusive to uni students. so it would prob be 1 year of boredom then 3 crazy dundee weekends. does tht change anything? should i put up with one [censored] first year?
